The DFW Grotto is a group of cavers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who pursue exploration, study, and conservation of caves in Texas and beyond.
Our next meeting is Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Program: “Las Grutas de Guerrero.” This April, Bill Steele and Diana Tomchick flew to Zihuatenejo, Guerrero, Mexico, to join Charles Fromen and Emily Zuber in the never-ending quest for spectacular, unsurveyed cave booty. They were not disappointed. Come hear Diana describe what they found and plans for a return trip next spring.
Grotto meetings are 6:45 p.m. the 4th Wednesday of each month at REI, 4515 LBJ Fwy., Dallas. Think you might be interested in caving? Come check us out. Visitors are welcome!
Please e-mail submissions for the Oztotl Caver newsletter to Diana Tomchick <Diana.Tomchick at UTSouthwestern.edu>. Don't forget photos!
