Announcements

Our next meeting is April 23, 2008 (the 4th Wednesday of April). The program: An ascent of Mexico's Pico de Orizaba, third highest mountain in North America. This big blob of lava sits on limestone that would otherwise doubtless have some good caves. Ed Goff will show photos of his recent climb of the endangered Jamapa Glacier, fast being erased by climate change.
